We are writing this review with pain beyond words and tears in our eyes. We live in Europe and went for holidays to India. My mother was fully fit and after some days in India she complained of some urinary problem so we took her to Kailash Hospital on a friend’s suggestion due to proximity of the hospital. The doctors told us that her Kidneys have failed and immediately admitted her. This was our biggest mistake. She did not come back anymore?
The height of negligence and the attitude of the doctors cannot be described in words. None of the staff including the doctors were ready to explain us anything. The only information that we were given was the amount of money to be paid. The height of inhumanity was that despite she was in ICU, one night, close to 11 pm we got a call from the hospital that our mother will be discharged now and we should come and take her immediately?. After we lost temper, they agreed to discharge her the next day. And next day to our shock, they told us that it was an error. Another shocking and unforgettable incidence was when she was shifted from ICU to general ward and the dialysis tube was removed she started bleeding heavily. In addition she had breathing problems. Despite our unwillingness, the doctors discharged her and called her back after a few days for a checkup. No further tests were done and later they found out that she caught up a lung infection and had blood vomiting.
Due to extreme carelessness of the staff, our mother got severe bed sores which added up to her pain and sufferings.
Despite all this, there were two doctors(Dr. Sudhir Kr. Gupta and Dr. Rahul Verma) who behaved like humans rather than just money making doctors and we would like to thank both of them for their soothing words and for understanding the unbearable pain we were going through.
Overall, our experience in Kailash hospital was extremely bad and it would be better to die on the street than to go to this hospital. It is just a money making hell.
