A years back I constructed my house. I choose kajaria tiles for my hall as it was the main room of the house.
I bought 800* 800 mm double charge kajaria tiles. The quality I purchased was premium and the same was mentioned on the boxes. There were 3 tiles in each box.
When the boxes arrived at my house I myself opened one of the box and noticed that one of the tiles had a broken corner of about 2 inches. I did not think much as it could be used in the corners where tiles needed to be cut before laying.
Next day when the laymen opended all the boxes as he had to lay tiles that day. He informed me that most of the boxes had atleast one corner broken in one tile or two. I called the shop from where I purchased they told me that we dont take any claim for breakage. I was shocked. You sold me this product yesterday, I paid you in full and today the person is not even ready to have a look at his product. I can understand that since its a ceramic product minor breakage is normal. But if out of 33 tiles around 10 ( 33% ) are broken then who is responsible for this. He tells me that your laymen might have broken it while opening. I asked him did I pay for such brittal product that it get broken when you try to open them. He had no answer. I asked for a refund and told him to pick up his tiles from my site. The person tells me since you have opened the box. It can not be returned. You will have to manage it some how. We will talk to the company for the breakage and let you know. It has been more then a year and I still have no call from either the company or the dealer.
You show all these adds on TV, hire stars to feature in your adds but on the ground level you have such a poor customer service. How am I supposed to recommend Kajaria to anyone after this. It is a total waste. I am fortunate enough that I did not buy the tiles for the complete house. God knows what would have happened then.
Go for Local Tiles rather then paying high price for broken pics of Kajaria.
