It’s the time to disco, that’s how I felt after watching this movie. One word describes this movie: Fantastic!
Synopisis:
Kal Ho Naa Ho is about Naina Catherine Kapur (Preity Zinta), Aman Mathur (Shahrukh Khan), and Rohit (Saif Ali Khan). Life is a mess full of problems for Naina. The daily fights in her house make her gloomy along with the family’s financial problems. Aman comes along like a breath of fresh air. Staying as their neighbor, he is friendly, jolly and gregarious.
Aman and Rohit, Naina’s friend, try to bring back happiness in Naina’s dull life. Soon love blooms in the air and everything is going happy until a secret comes out that brings the gloominess in Naina, Rohit AND Aman. What is the secret? Will their love ever succeed? It is said that ’’Behind every smile there lies an unshed tear’’ and same is the case with Kal Ho Naa Ho.
My Review:
Kal Ho Naa Ho is an extremely hilarious movie which you can watch with your family. It is appealing to viewers of all ages. From little kids, teens, adults to seniors, everyone loves this movie. The best thing I liked about this movie is that it is very very funny, but it also makes you cry in the climax. The plot is old but the way it is used is fresh. The scenes of Shahrukh and Saif supposedely being gay are very funny along with Shahrukh making fun of Preity and Saif.
Other funny scenes are about Sweetu and her sister, who are neighbors of the Kapur’s. The whole movie makes you laugh. It is a brilliant movie with excellent songs like Mahi Ve, It’s the time to Disco, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Pretty Woman and Kuch To Hua Hai. All of the songs are fast beated, fresh and young which will appeal to all audiences. The story is pretty fast paced except in the beginning. There are lots of twists and turns which will definitely make you glued to your seats while biting your nails. The gripping movie keeps you laughing even during the extremely tragic climax.
This movie is a much watch. I love this movie because it is a perfect blend of comedy, drama, emotions and love. The direction by Nikhil Advani is excellent. The timing of the songs is correct. The screenplay, song lyrics, the choreography and the cinematography are wonderful! Preity Zinta gives a marvellous performance. Saif Ali Khan gives an excellent performance along with Shahrukh Khan. They all act naturally. Jaya Bachchan and the others too play their part with grace. The movie is noteworthy in every aspect! Must watch!
