Kal Ho Naa Ho! This was one of last year’s most awaited movies and I too like other fans of Karan Johar thronged the cinema to get a view of my favourite stars. Everything from the star line-up to the music was impressive. This was truly one of the best movies last year!

Well, to begin with, the story is about Naina Catherine Kapur and her life. It’s about how she falls in love with Aman Mathur, a dashing guy from India just to find out that he is already married. She has to forget her love but it’s not that easy. Rohit, her best friend, falls in love with her and she agrees to marry him. But...Aman is not married! He is dying! He loves her more than anything and wants her to get married to Rohit.
In the end, Naina and Rohit are married and live happily ever after. Throughout the story, there are other incidents (which I like to call mini-stories). For example, the arguments between Naina’s mother, Jennifer, with Naina’s dadi, Lajjo. The homosexuality issue has also been brought up in this movie.
Overall, the performances by the cast of this film is truly amazing. Special mention has to be given to Saif Ali Khan for a wonderful performance. Saif has really grown as an actor. Hats off to him! Music is good. The songs ’’Mahi Ve’’ and ’’Pretty Woman’’ are catchy. Sonu Nigam sounds good in the title song.
For all those Karan Johar fans out there, this is definitely a movie you shouldn’t give a miss. A light entertainer that is suitable for you and your family.
