This movie is under Dharma Productions banner. Everybody knows that Dharma production is run by Yash Johar & Karan Johar. Lots of people have assumed that it is Karan?s movie. Yes! It is right that this is Karan?s movie but not directed by Karan Johar. It is produced by Karan. It was the first movie of Karan Johar as a producer and its story is also written by Karan. Mr. Nikhil Advani (assistant director of Karan Johar) was the director of this movie.
TITLE: -
I don?t know how could Mr. Karan think of this movie?s title as ?KAL HO NAA HO?.
But its title has a great theme in itself. I read somewhere that we take birth every morning and after living a whole life in one full day, we die at night and another day we take birth again. This means that ONE DAY is our whole life in which we are born, we grow up, we live and finally we die. So, we should live it with full strength, full of joy and full of enthusiasm about new things. This means, do every thing only today which you want to do in your life. Who knows? Kal Ho Naa Ho? : )
I have derived the same message from this movie?s title ?KAL HO NAA HO?. You should do every thing today for, who knows tomorrow may come or not. You should live an excellent life everyday. Only God knows what will happen tomorrow.

In this movie there are three main characters:

Story goes around these three characters, their friendship, their love, their sacrifices and life. There are many other characters like Jennifer (Jaya Bachchan) as Naina?s mom, Daadi(Shusma Sheth) as Naina?s grandmother, Chadda uncle(Dara Singh) as Aman?s uncle, Kanta ben as Rohit?s maid-servant and Gia & Shiv as Naina?s siblings. All these characters together contribute for the success and foundation of this movie.
STORY: -
Story goes around an Indian family, which lives in New York. In this family is a girl ?Naina Catherine Kapoor?, who had forgotten to smile after her father?s death. Jennifer (Naina?s mom) has all responsibilities of this family on her shoulders and has been living through her restaurant?s income. However, the restaurant is going to close down soon.
Daadi (Naina?s grandmother) thinks Jennifer is the reason for her son?s suicide. Gia (Naina?s sister) is adopted by Jennifer and loved by everyone except daadi. But, in reality Gia was the step sister of Naina. Rohit was from very rich family but not a success in his personal life. He is a very good friend of Naina (But they didn?t meet in park):D. They met in the evening MBA class.
A man comes from India with his mother and stays with uncle Chadda who was the neighbor of Naina. Aman sees the problems of that family and decides that he will bring happiness in their family. Kanta ben has doubts about the relationship between Aman and Rohit and creates a good comedy in the movie.

Movie?s all songs are well known and very good.
1) Maine jise abhi abhi dekha hai?Pretty Woman
It is a great song and I love this song very much. This is first song of this movie and this song?s music comes from Hollywood movie ?Pretty Woman?. First, they had to purchase its music?s rights from Hollywood.
2) Its the time to disco?
It is also a good song and very popular in pubs and parties.
3) Mahi ve?
This song was performed at the time of engagement of Naina and Rohit. It was the last song of movie. In this song dresses were very nice which Manish Malhotra has designed.
4) Kal ho Na ho?
It is the title song which is my one of the most favorite songs. It is really a very good song. It is also a background score in the entire movie.
Everybody plays his or her role absolutely perfect. Director Nikhil Advani and Karan Johar have chosen accurate actors for their movie?s characters as Sharukh Khan who plays serious romantic role very nicely, Saif Ali Khan who plays a very good role for comedian and side hero and Preity Zinta?she is beautiful and a good actress.
All other characters are also very good in their role like Jaya Bachchan (whom everybody knows as a great actress), Shusma Sheth, Dara Singh etc. Nikhil Advani and Karan Johar took best camera man for this movie and costume designed by Manish Mahlotra, who is a great designer.
Overall, Kal Ho Naa Ho is a romantic, heart-touching and a must-watch movie which conveys a beautiful message.
