the tune of this song was a direct copy of karan’s previous k3g’s title track. through the movie k3g, this tue was played and javed akhtar gave words to this tune in kal ho naa ho.

dil hai chotasa, chotisi asha.
the rhyming of the 2 songs is exactly the same. it looks as if shankar ehsaan & loy have remixed the tune of the original song ang given it to karan.
