Truly, it sucked!

“Kal Ho Naa Ho” is without doubt, the best song of the album, and probably best song of the year candidate (along being with Tere Naam from Tere Naam and Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai from Jism).   Sonu Nigam is simply superb in this song and deserves the award for this soothing number. Javed Akthar lyrics are simply superb. Overall, an 9.5/10.

“Maahi Ve” is slightly a disappointment song. The whole feel is lacking here. SEL tries to make the music appealing, but truly its horrible. Lyrics are alright, nothing great. Truly, everytime I hear this song, it reminds me of Say Shava Shava from K3G. Udit and Sonu try their best, but can’t save this song. I really hope the other songs are great. 5/10.

“Its Time To Disco” is so far the worst song on the album. This song doesn’t appeal nor does it entertain. Be honest people, if this song wasn’t a SRK film, would this song appeal? I don’t think so. I’m sorry, when this song came out, it was a total flop, and when the movie released, and it becomes a Hit, for what reason, I still think it’s a flop. To give credit where it’s due, the music is appeal, but its ruin by its https://lyrics. The singers try their best, but it can’t save this song. Truly, a loser track. 1/10.

“Kuchh To Hua Hai” is a good duet. Finally we get a next song that score, atleast. Shaan and Alka Yagnik sound great, backed up with Javed good https://lyrics. Music is alright, however the feel of the song manage to pull it to average status.    7/10.

“Heartbeat” is just a rehash of the title track, it isn’t an instrumental piece. Might as well call the track “Kal Ho Naa Ho” instrumental track. I thought it will be a great track, but its something not new.   Sorry, its just a rehash of the title track.    1/10.

“Pretty Woman” is by far the worst song of this album. This is totally copied. This is simply horrible, and a garbage track. The music is simply horrible (thanks to the over use of Punjabi beats, and the English lyrics) and the lyrics are absurd.   I can’t believe this song was a Hit, because it really sucks. This track is simply pointless. Shankar M. sounds really stupid.    0.5/10

Overall, 2/10.

This is simply the worst album from Dharma Productions. This album lacks the entertaining album that Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and K3G had. Although I’m Indian, I have to say this, the people of India and the people who voted this album as the Best Album of the Year are really stupid in their heads. I totally agree with Yaadein, this album really sucks. And it truly affects on its music sales. The music was a disappointment according to the trade, and it’s true. Also, when the album came out, everyone gave bad reviews, and I couldn’t agree more. The album only sold well in the big city, that’s it. Unlike Tere Naam, Tere Naam sold well everywhere. How can you people vote this album as the best album of the year. This album hardly had melody, and the lyrics for most song are pure garbage. This album isn’t better than Tere Naam or Jism, and Tere Naam and Jism were truly the best albums of 2003. Think about people, if this wasn’t a SRK-Karan Johar film, would this album work, yeah right. Tere Naam was suppose to win the Best Album Of The Year, and look at the irony of it, upto this day, Tere Naam is selling more better than Kal Ho Naa Ho. Total pity! TRULY THE ALBUM SUCK. SHAME ON THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED THIS AS THE BEST. PEOPLE LEARN HOW TO VOTE FAIR. NO WONDER WHY PEOPLE SAY THAT THE INDIAN AWARDS ARE BASED ON POPULARITY AND NOT BY FAIRNESS. THIS COMMENT IS TRULY AN INSULT TO US, INDIAN PEOPLE
