A WARNING message to all. Never go to this un-recognized hospital managed by touts and tyrants. They don’t have good doctors. There are very few doctors also. Most doctors whom they claim as theirs are actually fake appointees. The hospital bribes them just to flaunt their names. Even the interns, PG students and nurses are grossly incompetent. The reason is obvious. The hand-counted doctors are outdated. They can’t recall the composition of even branded medicines(combinational drugs). They hardly visit the patients during the rounds, even to the ICUs. These are done by the interns and PG students and they have inferiority complex. If you ask them anything related to prognosis, they’ll retort, "How do you know? What do you know? Are you a doctor to say that it isn’t an ICU case?". And every time a new student will show up to take the entire case history from scratch by asking the same questions again. But they’ll never start the treatment even when the case is critical. You’ll be tired of replying to one and all. Actually they don’t have confidence to start the treatment. They also delay it deliberately so as to prolong a patient’s stay in the hospital and keep the cash register ringing. They’ll say they need to keep the patient under "observation" and then force upon a battery of pathology and radiology tests even when a patient is passing out(in a semi-conscious state). No wonder, within 1-2 days, you’ll end up shelling out at least 50k for these random(sink) tests alone, but you’ll not see even an iota of improvement because the right treatment never begins. As a matter of fact, they don’t want a speedy recovery of the patient because they don’t want to leave their prey so soon and stop cash flow.
They’ll insist you to get admitted into the ICU even for aliments like fever, cough or diarrhoea/vomiting(citing the reason that there would be doctors there all the time, but actually you won’t find even a nurse around you). Their looting business starts once you enter the ICU. Tests after tests which are not required at the first place.
The founder of this hospital always resorts to illegal and fraudulent means, and makes good escape in the name of Late Pradyumna Bal and influential people, and paid, misleading news from media houses like Pragativadi and Kalinga TV. In fact, he is fooling people in the name of social/charitable work. He instructs his employees to squeeze money from the patients to the last penny. He has cleverly selected his administrative staff who know how to deal with patients’ attendants who want to know details of the treatment. There is no transparency. They turn rude and arrogant if you try to raise any issue. They have been properly interviewed at the time of posting to know if they can confront and argue with people and keep their mouth shut.
Remember, this is the worst private hospital in Bhubaneswar. With this sorry state of affairs, the day is not far off when this hospital will shut down or the Government will take over. Already de-recognized, MCI is never going to give recognition to this hospital again.
I request everyone to share this message in large numbers and expose the ground reality.
