Classes…no A HUGE Hotel!!Yes…that’s the place where the recent BLAST took place in Mumbai,
Lot of money wasted in the interiors, which was acquired from the students. It’s a building close to the Vile-Parle station on 2nd Floor.
Classes for 11th-12th science students and also private coaching goes on the 1st Floor.
Lets have a look at the place, start and begin your imagination………
There’s a watchman or 2, sitting and drowsing down the building. When you go up the 1st Floor lots of flush interiors and granite put up to impress people. Private Coaching goes on the 1st floor. Come the 2nd floor which is the official floor of the KS classes .A watchman stands there checking I-Cards of people who enter the premises.
Flush Interiors, the door made more of expensive glass then wood and carved with the symbols i.e. K and S of the classes on it.
-The fees for my batch for 12th in 1999-2000 were 14, 000/- which I believe has crossed the 20, 000/- mark now .
-Various false things are projected on the prospectus to lure people , but at the end of it all the reality is much different!
-The prospectus says that the marks obtained in Standard 12 are greater then standard 10th, which is found generally untrue especially in case of KS students.
-Tests are supposed to be held every Sunday but are held on the convenience of the management, rather then that of the students.
-The owners are arrogant, selfish and pure-businessman rather than professors.
-The batch - strength i.e. the number. Of students in each class was not mentioned in the prospectus. When you go to attend the classes you see as many as 100 students dumped into a batch.
-In some cases the number of students are 80, 90 and even reach 110. As a result of this no Personal attention is possible for the students .Its worse than going to college!
-Good Professors – only a few and the number decreases every year as some of them start their own private coaching!
-The syllabus is to be completed by Diwali i.e. October-November….but in most cases it goes on very late until December .
-The tests papers are supposed to be checked by the professors but this is done by the peons and ex-students!
-The assignments which we gave were returned to us without correction or even checking , just nothing at all!
-No planning and management sleeping in afternoons and listening to songs!
-There notes are not at all good either.
-Professors late for the lectures, yes that happened quite a few times and might be still happening today.
-Also Camera was there in Vile-Parle Branch, which I was a student of in the TOILET!! Yes that was a reality; I don’t know it its still there after 3 years.
I would definitely Not Recommend this Classes to anyone.
They say they are doing a Noble Job –teaching and educating, but the fact of the matter is that they are in this just for money and have made it pure BUSINESS.
