Manu buses plying on Hubli Route, mostly KSRTC Volvo buses stop at this Kamat Upachar Hotel for dinner or breakfast where daylight robbery is happening ever since it is started. This hotel has nothing less than 10/- available. Just for a cup of Tea which could be max Rs. 5/- elsewhere, he charges Rs. 10/-. I am just talking about Tea / Coffee. If you take two Rotis and some subji, you have pay upto Rs. 75/-. he charges anything that he feels at that time.
These people had one more branch on Mangalore route and once he started doing this, all the bus operators decided not halt at this place for dinner and breakfast, and the result of this is, the hotel is closed. Such unity needs to be shown on hubli route also. Please dont allow anyone to cheat you. you may have crores of rupees, your daily income could be in lakhs but it is your hard earned money. Dont allow this hotel to loot you.
If you happen to travel in KSRTC volvo, as much as possible try to carry the snacks parcel, food parcel so that you dont get cheated.
