I visited Kamat Upachar which is near Sira (Bangalore-Chitradurga Road) and had a dinner with family. I had lot of expectations before entering the hotel. The food quality is not good and rates ar exorbitant. Cleaniness is very poor and toilets are just constructed and left (not maintained).
Travellers just looks the buildinga dn Kamat Logo and enters the hotel, but returns with bad experience.
2 weeks back I visited Kamat Upachar near Chickaballapur (Bangalore-Hyderabad Road)) had the similar experience. When I entered the hotel, I was just thinking why it is empty. The building gives great look and expectation to the people. Tables and floor are not cleaned properly and one can see flies every where. They took 15 minutes to serve rice bath and 15-20 minutes to serve coffee and tea and when I got the bill I was surprised to see that rates are not reasonable.
I think this hotel may get closed any day, since they don;t get any business beacuse of their own fault.
