I m still in confusion why I m writing this review...may be the human in me woke up...and he don’t want any other human to get tortured..may be these 7500 cahracters r nt enough for me ..After reading so many negative reviews I was nt expecting much from this movie..but still it disappointed me big..Lets make things clear first...
I m nt a die-hard akshay kumar or kareena kapoor fan..but I have liked some of their previous movies..and they have acted well in this movie too.BUT....(i will explain the "BUT"). I dnt understand wats screenplay or wats logic..bt I have liked sum movies which are illogical...
And this movie crossed everything..please try to understand me...whatever I am writing is completely out of my heart..I m sorry to all MSians who gave negative review to this movie....coz I still watched this movie..and I m repenting now..plz forgive me...subah ka bhula agar shyam ko ghar aa jae ....I still cant forget the aftab-amrita marriage reception scene.i dnt know what the makers were doing..must be trying to make us laugh..we have seen that in many movies including charlie chaplin movies...bt I dnt know wat was missing..i was nt even smiling in that scene..
I could nt watch the whole movie..Now as u have felt my frustration lets come to the real review... MUSIC---a big no no...there is nothing special..just 2/3 songs are little catchy coz of the repeated show in all TV channels...just the mukhda is catchy...u wont find anything in antara..
DIRECTION AND STORY--I really want to sue these guys...if u shoot a movie in hollywood , universal studio(which they proudly show ), with some hollywood actors(in minute roles), many double meaning vulgar scenes(which r frequent), some blonde gals who r dieing to have sex and a huge promotion without a script doesnt mean its a good movie...may be it will earn some money..but it wont earn u respect of audience..
ACTING-- the lead actors have acted well...And I genuinely feel both the lead actors have potential..the BUT is explained here--what if ur boss has given u a work where u dnt have to work , just u need to show that u r working.. the same thing applies here....Akshay kumar is on the verge of ruining his carrier coz of the stupid movies he is signing...God help him.Javed jaffery was also good...but I still ca’t find out why he was needed???
Aftab and amrita were as usual dumb-nothing to do-just for show--kirron kher has become a mascot for these kind of role..and of course Boman Irani- who if acts normal- is genuinely fuuny...but here he fails..
I m nt going to details of the hollywood actors..they were doing whatever they were asked to...
Now if u want to know about the loopholes or scenes which we call "is nt digestible", I have to write another review..let me give an example..in Hollywood or anywood the stuntman while jumping from a building jumps with a rope tied to his waist...this is a safety precaution...bt in our movie it is nt important coz we come from an industry which represents RAJANIKANTH AND MITHUN...
Now lets come to the conclusion..Dnt watch it...its not like a B grade movie which u know is BAD but still u watch to have some fun and laugh at the scenes and acting..
this is a seriously mainstream movie which has gone seriously wrong which u should seriously avoid..otherwise just write another negative review like me. : )
