O GOD!! Save me from this !!

When I was coming out of the theatre after watching this movie, more than one feelings were visiting me at once, feeling of anger as well as that of happiness. Anger, for I came to watch this movie after driving through the traffic of Hyderabad for almost an hour and spent my precious three and half hours on this piece of sh*t. And happiness because I realised that those who watch this movie, if there is any truth in souls getting punished for their wrongdoing to cleanse them after death, I am pretty sure, will be let off even by God, for already having been gone through the same punishment while watching KAMBAKTH ISHQ.

In a nut shell, this movie is a huge big piece of sh*t. If you ask me about the storyline, I would have to think hard, very very hard. There is absolutely no story. It’s just a boy-girl-fight-turning-into-love-at-the-end story. There is no performance by any of the actors worth watching. I wonder why Akshay Kumar has degraded himself into churning out such mindless comedies in almost all of his recentmovies. About Kareena Kapoor, the less is said, the better.

Then there are Amrita Arora and Aftab Shivdasani just to act like fillers in a senseless comedy(?!?!?) . Other actors like Kiron kher, Javed Jafari, Bomen Irani are casted into the movie for absolutely no reasons whatsoever. Songs of the movie are equally pathetic. It is supposed to be a comedy, but there is no part which can evoke spontaneous smile on your face, unless you try hard for it. The only saving grace is its Hollywood cinematic presentation. And also a good dose of skin show, if you are interested in it.

The story, if you can call it one, goes like this. Akshay is a stuntman in Hollywood. His brother Aftab wants to marry a girl, played by Amrita Arora, who is the sister of Kareena Kapoor. Both Akshay and Kareena don’t believe in love and any true relationships. It’s the wedding ceremony of Aftab and Amrita when they first meet each other and then start their childish and witless fight with each other, which gets repeated enumerable number of times again and again for no reason. This goes on till the interval. After intermission, both of them find reasons to fake love with each other, which eventually turns into real love at the end. It ends at the wedding ceremony of Akshay with another girl, where Kareena arrives to express her love for him and the two accept each other, after, again, some pointless dialogues. The script writer and director have made sure that no possible clichés are left untouched in the movie.

If you have anything better to do in life, please do that but don’t watch this movie. Else, I assure you, you will feel the same as I felt while coming out of the theatre.
