How to get there
Air: Nearest airport is Pune-56 km. and the nearest International airport is Bombay - 110 km away from Kamshet. In Pune, the airport is situated in the Lohagaon area, about 12-km from the city.
Rail: There are regular local trains from Pune to Kamshet and main line trains from Bombay’s VT station via Karjat / Lonavala. Get down at Lonavala and take a local train to Kamshet.
Road: Kamshet, 16km east of Lonavala is a three hour ride from Mumbai. State Transport, Luxury & Air Conditioned buses ply the Bombay -Pune route at regular intervals. New Bombay-Pune highway recommended all the way from Bombay to Lonvala. But from Lonavala take the Old highway to Pune which runs by Kamshet. The new highway bypasses Kamshet entirely. You can alternatively take a taxi straight to Kamshet or share a taxi from Bombay- Pune route and get down at Rangoli restaurant off the highway in Kamshet.
