Torture No.1

Story about 2 girls who are dear friends. Sandhya and Padmini are the character names. Sandhya played by sujitha, a once child actress., and Padmini played by Simran(Only in name), (correct me if im wrong).

This serial is currently telecasted in SUN TV.

Other characters:

Vikram, Sandhya’s husband.

Uma, Sandhya’s sister.

roja, vikram’s sister.

Couple of other Old folks.

The story

This is one big serial which will drive you to commit suicide. Other than Padmini all others are good people. Padmini plays the ever crazy, shrewed lover who loves her friends husband. Incidentally Vikram(sandhya’s husband) is such an idiot who never understands his beautiful wife, but always craves for the Plumpy looking Padmini.

Padmini is so plumpy and she always wears tight dresses, which promptly looks disgusting.

Vikram’s father is a wealthy man and has 2 brothers who are very supportive.

Sandhya comes from a poor family and and she works in Vikram father’s Office. Vikram’s has some astrological trouble which prompts their parents to look for a astrologically matching and good homely bride. You guessed it right Sandhya marries Vikram and goes to hell(LOL).

Padmini takes many villain avatar, from torturing sandhya by words, using conmen to kill her, and even tries to kill sandhya herself.

From then the viewers patience is tested to the extreme where Sandhya is so forgiving character, she forgives the wicked padmini in every way, and she goes to the extreme of letting her(Padmini) marry her husband, because padmini has Cancer! (Oh my god!!).

Talking about Sandhya’s sister Uma, like her elder sister, she also tries to kill viewers with her own sacrificing saga.

Vikram’s sister Roja gets pregnant due to her lover, and uma goes to the extreme of arranging Roja’s delivery of the baby in bangalore in the name of studies to prevent bad name to the family.!

I also came to know that this serial is similar to one in Hindi called Khusum.

These kind of serials just prompts one big question in viewers minds!

Why do women are always portrayed in both extremes, can’t they just portray them as normal people?.
