Unfortunately, I could not watch the movie in a theater hence missed out on the great cinematographer PC Srirams work. There is no great storyline..but the screenplay is fantastic and so real.. you can relate yourself with the characters of the movie with your day today lives.. and the people you deal with.. During the same week I also happened to watch some masala flicks like aaru and majaa.. Those are no comparison to this work of art and tamil cinema world needs more films like these to keep it going..
The actors have lived their characters in the movie and have done it naturally.. be it Prasanna, laila or karthik..I am not going to discuss the storyline but I can tell you that its original and its down to earth..and doesnt take you to any fantasy world..
The subtle way of story telling and the emotions surrounding the characters just pulls you in and keeps you engrossed in the movie for the 2+ hours.. the songs are brilliant - especially merke, pani thuli and the title song.. Kudos to Yuvan.. He is getting better and better with every movie.. He has sung one song too..even though his voice sounds like a combination of Illayaraja and AR Rehman, its soothing and melodious..
If you havent seen it.. do see it now..
