Hi Friends!Today I will talk about my experience of Kanha Kunj Foods-Gomti Nagra-Lucknow.I recently got a chance to visit here so I thought I must share my experience with you all.It is a vegetarian restaurant you can not get non veg food here.Timings are 11 AM to 4 PM and 7 PM to 11 PM, They provide home delivery facility .sitting arrangement is also available here.Location is Vineet Khand Near Patrakar puram chauraha Gomtinagar Lucknow.Some of more info is below
Food And Presentation-As I already told it is a vegetarian restaurant so you can only get here North Indian and Chinese Food.Talking about the quality of food so nothing is satisfactory here accept to Sarso ka Saag And Makke ki Roti all the other items are below average .They have KKFC Special Lassi 1 glass for RS 25/= which is very bad in term of taste as the curd of lassi is stale therefore lassi taste so sour and you get nothing like lassi in it.Food items like Paneer Pasanda, Hara Bhara Kofta, Dal Makhani are a hideous experience to taste as in Paneer Pasanda lots have oil and chili is used which make the taste so tacky, Hara Bhara Kofta is also not working in taste as the kofta is hard to eat and it feels that you are chewing a gram wheat ball instead of kofta, Daal makhani is also not a daal makhani as the butter used in it is of local brand and it was hard to find a single kidney bean in Daal Makhani. Bhojan Thaals are also very down market and unhygienic .When we talk about the presentation of food so it is so pathetic and disappointing as you get the feeling that you are being served in a village Dhaba no hygiene in utensils and so decoration of food and other items .They have zero knowledge of food presenation.
Ambience- Do not hope for a good ambience here as it is just ok here because from outside it appears a village’s hotel.You see an iron made gate on entrance and a tin shade over the gate when you enter the restaurant premises so you will see plastic chairs and table laying here and there for sitting and an umbrella is also placed with them so that you do not get the heat of sun and inside the restaurant you will see walls painted in crop green colors and paintings of Radha Krishna are affixed on the walls for sitting arrangements plastic table and chairs are available but sitting arrangements are not good inside and outside.Moreover the aura of the ambience here is not pleasing you get the feeling of exhausted here.So my opinion that ambience is not satisfactory here.
Customer Service- Can not say it satisfactory as their staff dressed in unhygienic clothes and take lots of time to respond .No one here to look after you and moreover they know nothing on name of hospitality.On asking for water they serve you pale yellow stinking water which is the most awful experience here .I did not feel any such thing here by which I can call them a good customer service provider.My experience is worse customer service here.
Value For Money-In terms of food accept to some items rest items are at reasonable price with low taste quality.It cost RS= 300/= for 2 people .But if you ask in terms of ambience and customer service so no value for money place .As they need to pay a lots of attention on hygiene and customer service as both are very poor and disappointing.
I can not give it more than 1 out 5 star to this restaurant unless they improve their services and ambience and hygiene .
