Kanthallore - Relaxation unlimited

Are you planning for a "Hill Station" Holiday? If yes, consider "Kanthallore". Kanthallore is a small village on the way to Munnar from Bangalore or Chennai. It is around 55 kms from Munnar - 15 kms from Marayoor.

Kanthallore is a rather unknown destination now. However there are now a couple of places you can have a comfortable stay. The weather is cool through out the year. It does not rain much there which is an advantage over other popular hills stations like Munnar and Ooty.

If your interest lies in sightseeing, Kanthallore is not your place. There isn’t much to see there except great views of the valley and surrounding hills. Kanthallore is for a quiet and secluded holiday. However, several places of interest including Munnar is a day trip from Kanthallore.

Kanthallore is the only place in Kerala where apples grow abundantly. Major crops in kanthallore are veggies like cabbage, cauliflower, peas, carrots and all kinds of fruits - oranges, plums, apples, gooseberries, butter fruit and peaches. Off late, a number of organic farms have come up in kanthallore. For more info and any assistance in Kanthallore.
