Kapoor & sons is the new film that released last Friday. This film is produced by Karan Johar and has Fawad Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak in leading roles. A medical emergency in the family brings the two brothers Rahul and Arjun back to their home in Conoor. The story is believable and well-written. Things that divide the family are real and many families experience such things.
The set up was real and their house actually resembled the kind of houses that are there, not like the kind of unreal houses they show in hindi cinema.
The ensemble of new and experienced actors has worked in the favor of the film. Acting by all of them is mature and natural. Songs are good and properly placed in the film, so that they don’t disrupt the flow of the film.
Kapoor and sons is a family drama that looks real and relatable. It is not too dramatic or unbelievable with skeletons in the closet kind of plot. A simple, ordinary family and their problems. Enjoyed watching it with my own family.
