The film starts Fawad khan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia bhatt. It’s directed by Shakun batra and produced by karan johar. Director shakun batra narrates the story of the dysfunctional kapoor family. Rishi kapoor plays the role of a grandfather who insists that he wants to see them in one single photo frame one last time before he die. Fawad and sidharth are brothers, Ratna pathak and rajat kapoor are their parents. Alia comes along as a breather fresh air in a house filled with misgivings and frustrations but also adds attention between 2 brothers. Both of whom are much in love with her.
Kapoor & sons is not a typical karan johar film. Don’t expect mentions and actors arriving in expensive choppers but do expect a great deal of drama and moments that drive home the dharma philosophy its all about loving your family. Fawad khan is dreamy, sexy, cute and hot all at the same time. Sidharth and Alia’s onscreen chemistry is good. Rishi kapoor is a whole lot of fun. Rajat kapoor and Ratna pathak are brilliant in their roles.
So, Kapoor & sons is a good family film and one can watch with a box of tissues.
