This is to apprise you and request you for appropriate action for the problem faced by the undersigned customer regarding Karbonn A21 service.


The product Karbonn A21(IMEI No. 911240900109315) was bought on Oct 31, 2012 vide retail invoice no. a2z/12-13/MD/DL/9855 from M/s a2z Shopping Limited by undersigned customer Mr. Suyash Pandey. The product functioned well till Aug 10, 2013 when it went dead while on a telephonic conversation. The phone failed to start thereafter.


The phone was taken to Karbonn Clinic service centre M/s Kavyanshi Communication, Rathyatra, Varanasi on Aug 12, 2013. It was reported that the phone had developed some problem in PCB and must be sent to Karbonn Head Office at Delhi. Due to paucity of time and as the customer himself had to go to Delhi took back the phone to hand it over to Karbonn Service Center in Delhi. The phone was taken to Karbonn service center M/s Godsons Enterprises, Karol Bagh, Delhi on Aug 17, 2013 where again it was reported to take about a month.


As the customer was on tour to Delhi for a short period of time, he took back the phone and went to Karbonn service center M/s N.D. Traders, Azadpur, Delhi whereupon he was told that the phone had been opened elsewhere and hence could not be accepted to be repaired under warranty. This was shocking for the customer who had a firm belief in the service of reputed firm M/s Karbonn Mobiles.


Having the customer moved back to Varanasi, it is requested from you to kindly take up the matter with your service professionals at Varanasi and get the problem solved at the earliest as the warranty is about to expire on Oct 30, 2013. The delay in the service, the indifferent behavior and irrational comments of the service personnel’s have already caused much mental and physical harassment to the customer. It would be difficult for the customer to move door to door for getting the phone repaired as the customer is employed and it also puts the reputation of your company at stake.


Hence it is requested that you look into the matter seriously and take appropriate steps so that the phone is repaired at the earliest and the customer is no more harassed as you would not like the customer to move to consumer court to get his problems fixed.
