Hi guys. Its me Navin and now I am going to share my views about a handset from Karbonn Mobile and the name of that particular handset is ’Karbonn A40 INDIAN’. As we know that Karbonn is an INDIAN brand so our passion sticks with it easily. It is obvious but as we count on the return of money value, we recieve only disappointment. As I have gifted this particular handset to my cousin. As he is in high school so I want such a cell phone which is comparatively cheap and useful for students. One of my friend adviced me to go with the Karbonn A40 INDIAN. So I have purchased it. As my cousin told me about the shortcomings of this handset then I realised that it could be better if I go with Micromax, Lava or other brands. Lets have a look of this phone first. As this phone is costing 3500 INR, 4 inches IPS LCD display, 480×800 pixel resolution, Android v 7.0 Nougat operating system, Quad Core 1.4GHz processor, RAM 1 GB, 8 GB internal memory, expendable memory by SD card, 4G supported network, 2 megapixel led flash rear camera and 0.3 megapixel front camera, 1400 mAh Li-ion battery. So these are some prominent features which sound good. But the reality is somewhat different from reality. Now let’s talk about the shortcomings.
1- As this phone is getting heaed easily. It doesn’t mean that you are talking, charging or using it. It can be heat by any of the task you are performing on this particular handset.
2- As the network section is very poor in this handset. Although you use any of the operator but anyhow it is not able to catch the network. On the other hand I didn’t find this problem with other handsets. May be there are some cheaper parts used in the manufacturing of this handset.
3- As the display of this handset is going dimmer day by day. How they claim that this handset is equipped by led.
4- Its battery backup is a big problem. It hardly sustained upto 2-3 hours. It means you have to carry a powerbackup always.
5- Some applications likr MSoffice etc are not supported by this handset. There are several applications which is not supported by this phone. It is a big disappointment.
6- Flash light is not upto the mark. It is not able to capture good pics of yours.
7- This particular handset is going slower day by day. Noe it is taking too much time to respond.
Friends as I find that this phone is not worthy of its cost. Go for other brands if you want a hassle free phone. Please read, comment and share your views about it. Thanks for your kind reading.
