This review has been written by me after I saw ’’DEV’’ on CD yesterday. To be very honest I was not willing to watch this film when the movie released coz it was an art film and looked boring. but yesterday my friend came to see me after 1 year and just like every other thing we talked of films and she constantly kept praising bebo and the whole movie so I thought lets watch the film and when I saw it................................... yes I was speechless but it was not the film which took me by surprise it was the performance of kareena which did so. I always knew that she had spark but when I saw this I was sure that she is the most talented girl in town. she did an amazing work in chameli and proved all of them wrong who said kareena is all about overacting. but this time she has proved that she is the best. iam know sure that she could have carried ’’black’’ just like rani or even better than her. for those who dont know some media people reported that ’’black’’ was first offered to bebo but amitabh was not ready to work with her since just few days before that abhishek’s engagement was cancelled. still he had to do dev and zamanat with the 2 sisters coz he had signed them well before the brake up. but in this movie ’’DEV’’ bebo’s screen presence is so strong that I didn’t even noticed anyone else. I don’t know why she didn’t got the best actress trophy { or even a nomination} for this film. but anyways she did won the critics best actress award for it so keep going bebo.
