Travelling and exploring new places has always been very exciting part for me and trekking at Karnala fort was one of them, visited this historical place with my office friends recently, little far from panvel station on highway to pune goa express way but that is the only near by station to reach this natural beauty, ofcource beauty and quality has its own price, the main entrance has an office where we have to pay rs. 20.00 to enter this area, once u enter after walking for a while you can see the bird sanctuary for which karnala is mainly known for however there wasn’t much bird to see but beautiful species of bird.
Further is the beauty of nature the karnala fort, before trekking you will find some villagers who provide food tea and all they have little hotel but more often like a home good and decent people really liked the kanda poha with chai with typical indian gav type loved the place, the fort is really awesome to trek on and the beauty of nature makes ur mind fresh, once u reach the top u can see Maharaj Shivaji’s Flag on top where we couldn’t reach as there is a fencing all over because of some holes at that place filled with green water which one would definately not enter, and if I have to tell about safety of this nature, everyone is invited to this place so can not really comment as you will see every type of people, really saying not to come as couple can come with group u will really enjoy this place but definately visiting this place was worth and having beautiful and fun memories with friends always makes us happy that is all everyone needs as per me, do comment and like thw review guys if u liked it.
