Hi friends recently my friends and I decided to go out for trekking at karnala.
Karnala is near khopoli..
To reach there we need to first reach Panvel Railway station or Panvel bus depot and from
there we can go by auto or by a private vehicle. It’s just 29 kms away.
Karnala an awesome place to trekk on.
The mountain could be seen as a Thumb pointing upwards.
It was me and my 30 friends who were there together for trekking.
Now at the starting it plain road for walking almost 2kms..and after that you have a garden wherein you can rest or prepare yourself for trekking the Amazing Karnala mountain.
Thats just the start.
there is no sign boards nothing to follow..if you have a look at mountain it would like a densely covered by trees. You will have to find the way on your own..
Try to be in group.
As it happen with us. We got divided into group of 5 and because of slow speed to get down.we were left behind.
We lost our way I between as there came a point where there was no way ahead and it was just water fall...
We had to come all the way back and find the correct way out..
It was a bit trilling as it was getting evening and the sun had set...but luckily we found our way and reached back safely.
While Going to karnala I would suggest you not to carry much of eating stuff....as at the end their are monkey present to welcome you!
And dont forget to carry torch along with you.
