I have tried few of the items at Karnataka Bhel house like papri chat, bhel puri, aaloo tikia, chola chat etc while visiting my friend’s house. But frankly speaking, it does not give that delight of North Indian taste for which you visit here. Because, I have tried almost all street chats food in North, this Karnataka bhel house stands nowhere in comparison to it. Those who have never experienced the north Indian street food taste in the northern part of India, may like it because they can never make out the difference between original and artificial taste.
Also, the ingredients and recipe used to prepare those chats are locally preferred and not the original north Indian flavor touch. It is hardly seen in North India that you get warm bhel puri with gravy of chola. After one byte, I did not go for the second byte.
Moreover, the presentation and serving proceedings are average. It is a small street corner food. So, no question of booking table or giving order like as it happens in restaurant. Just be in the crowd and ask for what you want and get it after paying from the person who is preparing your stuff.
It’s not only about the taste but the serving trait is also important which is hopeless here.
