The resort is nestled amidst a dense forest of pine trees and is an ideal option for those seeking relaxation and comfort in the lap of nature. The rooms are quite well done with a nice decor and interiors. The approach is not very convenient and is almost 500 meters from the ALmora Binsar Road. However, if you wish to offer your prayers and seek blessings of the Almighty then Kasar Devi temple is just a stones throw away. Incidentally, Kasar Devi is a quite famous temple of the area and people actually travel from far-off places to seek blessings of the Goddess. For the travel enthusiasts, Binsar sanctuary is just 10 kms away and should be explored if you have some time to spend there. In terms of the ambience and surroundings, the resort deserves an above-average rating.
The food is okay though not very great. Infact, dinner was a big disappointment for us primarily for 2 reasons;(1) the choice was extremely limited in terms of the menu available and(2) the preparation was bad and infact the roti appeared like papad while the vegetable carried a foul smell. In terms of sports/recreation activity, the resort offered little except a TT Table. And ultimately to top it all, the front desk manager was very rude and arrogant and carried a heavy attitude up his sleeves. We had a real bad experience and would like to share this with everybody planning to go there. In terms of services, it would get a below average rating
Overall, the services offered by the resort do not justify the room tariffs and the package rates. For all those looking at value for money, this is not the place to go. However, it could be considered by those seeking great ambience.
*Overall rating** - Average with scope for improvement especially with respect to the front-desk services.
