God alone knows what Zee TV and Balaji Telefilms were thinking when they decided to broadcast this stupid and infuriating soap opera on national television. Once the highly successful Astitva-ek prem kahani got over, Zee TV needed a soap to fill the 9:00 pm slot. This meant that they had to take a decision fast and naturally, this meant that they were rteady to accept mediocre stuff. This soap started in January 2006 and was heavily marketed by Zee. But still, the soap fell flat on its face and Zee must have surely lost a lot of money.
I know that writing this review is pointless since I must be the only one in the world to have seen this collage of mistakes. But I am still writing it to tell people to be cautious while surfing the channels. DO NOT halt on Zee TV between 9:00pm and 9:30pm on Mondays to Fridays. You will regret it!!!
Ah, perhaps then you will ask the question why do I see this silly stuff? Indeed, a good question. Well, I was an ardent follower of Astitva and was naturally tuned in to Zee TV. but I have stopped watching it in the past week.
Anway, let us now proceed to the wafer-thin storyline:
It is a story of three sisters who migrate from Mount Abu to Mumbai with hardly any money and with no arrangement for their lodging.An industrialist provides them with lodging and gives the eldest sister a job. What follows is utter NONSENSE!!! the three sisters fight, argue and then make up again. The second sister is shown to be money-minded and overtly practical. She only moves around with the guys who have cash. The eldest sister declares in every episode that she respects her values and will never compromise on her principles. All the characters in the bizarre drama are bored of her stupid speech by now!!
