I am normally used to go kasauli for outing. Its an amazing place. A lot of places are here to roam like monkey point which the temple of lord hanuman. Its height from sea level is near about 6000 mtr. And temple is situated under Indian Air Force station which is nearly 1.5 km from bus stand of kasauli.
So next time if you make a plan to going shimla then make your way via kasauli.
