Kasautii viewers ki

Kasautii zindagi ki, a product of Ektaa Kapoor’s simply over-burdened head, has been given a new twist. Prem, the sweet and charming son of Prerna and Anurag dies!!!!!!! Whew! Now, you can imagine the hue and cry this twist has generated in the over-flowing family of Anuraag Basu. Well, as was expected, the viewers were made to mourn for more than a week after the child’s death.

One can understand that Prerna, is all torn after her son’s death. But man, who could tolerate her melodramatic (over)acting which was highly torturous. Now, the couple are living separately, thanks to their stubbornness and of course, Komolika. Komolika is one character which is really a big relief from all the highly stupid characters of the Basu family.

Of course, Rishab Bajaj cannot be forgotten when speaking of good characters. His is a very dynamic character with dignity and charm. But of course, his family is as boring as the Basu family.

As far as the acting is concerned, Prerna Basu would get an award for the worst acting, followed immediately behind by Anurag Basu. The rest of the Basu family is passable with an exception being Komolika. Here is an actress who really deserves an appreciation for her outstanding acting skills. She has moved leaps and bounds after one of her first serials, Dekh Bhai Dekh.

The best actor award goes to………..Rishab Bajaj aka.. Ronit Roy. Whether he is playing the subdued role of Mihir Virani or the enigmatic Rishab Bajaj, he is simply awesome. The role of the clever, charming, dignified Mr. Bajaj, could not have been played better by another actor.

The storyline ( if there is one) is going bleak day by day and it will not be a surprise if it is going to be another Kahin Kissi Roz with nobody watching it roz. Finally, a kind request to Ekta – “ Make as many soaps as you want but please do not attempt at making another Kuch to hai, since the viewers can at least switch to another channel during your torturous soaps.”
