HOW EGO HURT EMOTIONS

KASAUTI ZINDAGI KI, the serial which is airing on star plus probably for the last one and half years is diluting these days and now the story is becoming boring. Though I am not a very regular viewer of this serial but my family watches it everyday.

In my opinion, the lead character in this serial Mr. Anurag Basu is a person without any moral values in life. He is the person who listens to everybody other than the person to whom he should listen to. He seems to believe everything instantly whatever is said by characters like Komolika Basu, Rishab Bajaj, Gupta (Friend of Rishab Bajaj) etc. The person Anurag Basu who is shown as billionaire in this serial should behave in a matured way. The person who is on such heights in life should follow the simple rule ’’WHATEVER SAID IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE’’. I would like to give example of episode aired two-three days back. Without any evidence, he blaims his aunt Geeta for the involvement of her in the murder of his son Prem about eight years ago. similarly all family members except wife of anurag Basu believes that. Even husband of Geeta found her guilty without listening to her.

When Anurag asked Geeta why she met with Rishab Bajaj or why she want to work with him, it does not make any sense. An intellectual writer like Geeta can work for anybody. It is her right. Though morally she should not work with the rival group of Kay channel but it should be her decision. who is Anurag to question her. If Moloy Basu had asked that question from Geeta, that make some sense because he is eldest in the family. But Ekta Kapoor is showing that it is Anurag Basu who is taking all decisions of the family.

Now if we talk of the another part of the story i.e. Prerna Sharma (Basu), she is an egoistic lady. Now she does not want to believe Anurag Basu rather she is close to Rishab Bajaj. This all happened due to wrong decision of Prerna. When she was happily married to Anurag in her second marriage, she was very much keen to look after the children of Rishab. She missed many occasions when her presence was necessary for her own son Prem. That increased frictions between Anurag and Prerna. That resulted in antagonism, a clash of wills, different temperaments and mutual animosity arising from disagreement. As a very responsible business lady, she should also understand the emotions and should balance between her professional life and personal life.

ANURAG BASU: He is good in business but not a matured person.

PRERNA : she is enthusiastic, egoistic lady

RISHAB BAJAJ: Very good in business and in maintining relations, a good planner but not very polite, accommodating or cordial.

MOLOY BASU: He should remember that he is the head of the family and he should not completely rely on Anurag Basu. He is doing like Dhritrashtra in Mahabharata.

KOMOLIKA: She is cunning

On the whole, Ekta Kapoor should now try to summarise the whole episode because the longer the story, the lesser the viewers.
