I am professional working in Mumbai and whenever there are 3 days break, I used to take my family to Kashid. It is a wonderful experience driving to Kashid through the Revnanda village. My family enjoys the stay in Prakruti Resorts, where you get all comfort.
The Beach is very good, clean and white sand , same as Marina beach in chennai. I feel that to get We always go on 3 days stay and enjoy the Kashid beach daily. The resort also gives good food, well maintained rooms etc etc........
Climate is good in Winter and rainy seasons.
Nowadays due to more people visiting the Beach, it is slowly getting polluted. I feel that we need to maintain the sanity of the area while visiting the place otherwise, the Beach is the best which I had so far seen.
It takes 4 hrs drive from Mumbai city and you can also visit Birla temple, Janjira fort.
It is good place and worthy to spend ur weekends.
