If you are one of those who really struggling to watch a movie which has a classic script, sincillating performance from the cast, songs that fantastically suits the situation(not even one song u find absurd or annoyed) and great directorial debut in Kollywood, this film is worth watching.
Usually these kind of scripts are told to actors like Kamalhaasan, Vikram etc.But I strongly support the directors belief in Jeeva(The Hero) who made this movie a classic of all times.As we all know that Jeeva is one of very young heros in Kollywood, there is no much pressure on him to take up a movie like this to prove his skills.This movie not only depends on the hero’s acting skills but also on his tamil dialogue delivery.I’m sure Jeeva should have done a lot of home work for this movie to make it a success.
The theme of this movie is extremely difficult to convey in a way the kollywood movies are made so far.Many would do it as a Documentary rather than giving it a try to make it a full length movie.This is one movie which depicts the cons of the IT industry in our society in a ferocious manner.
What is the actual stuff in it? Okay.The movie conveys its theme( i.e. the problems faced by our society due to the invasion of foreign countries on India by the name of BPO’s, IT’s atc. and the unbalanced growth of the economy in our nation) through the conversation between Jeeva and Karunas, both lived up to their roles.The hero has a little flashback which backs the sequences that jeeva does in his later stages.Jeeva who decides to study Tamil Literature even after he got good marks in his school days because of his Tamil Teacher who had been an inspiration in his life.He suffered a lot due to this decision to study tamil.He got fed up with that, to an extent that he started murdering whoever comes in his path.Also he lost his love(Aanandi).
He finds her again as a prosti*ute in a home.He decided to renew his life with her.But he decided to make his life an example to others before starting a new life and that made him to choose Karunas a video assistant who works in a private TV channel.
After making a documentary, he hands over the video tape to the TV channel.Then he returns to his own bithplace to start a new life.As he confessed his murders in his tape, the police somehow managed to get to his place and asks him to surrender.
They decided to go together wherever they go.They decided to to live in a place where there is no disturbance."HEAVEN".
I have watched this movie thrice in theater and several times on my computer.More time I watch this movie, more I get addicted to it.
Dialogue, songs and cinematography is prefect.Senes containing adultary(both dialogues and videos) could have been edited, so that making the movie watchable for all ages.
THIS MOVIE ON A WHOLE IS AWAKENING.
