I watched all the four shows aired this week and its continuously improving! SRK is quickly getting into skin of his new character. He is slowly but surely getting contestants into comfort zone. I’m big fan of BIG B. He is a legend....almost GOD as far as acting is concerned! He was on lowest point of his carrier when he started as host on KBC. Since then he never looked back.
His mesmerizing personality, respect which he enjoys from contestants, his humbleness, his acting to keep contestants and audience on edge of their seats…everything everything he did on KBC was amazing…then he quits…so somebody needs to do it…in fact take up a challenge because there was no scope for raising the bar to next level. So what should Siddarth Basu (producer of KBC) do? Who’s the next Big thing in Bollywood…who may not appeal to all the age groups in society as Big B but many of them…So SRK…. And he actually agrees! So SRK…didn’t we loved him on TV decades ago in Fauji! He was no super star then…but he had won many audience then…Hats off to him!
So who do he appeals most…Boys and Girls! Isn’t it? So change serious, intelligent KBC to something FRESH! And SRK do succeed in bringing that Freshness to KBC! His nervous ness was quite visible in first couple of episodes but now he is getting into his own aura! The King of Romance! Although I’m not quite happy with his gestures like massage, hugging, giving away watch, phone from wife…but how do poor guy get some originality! So he is trying few things. His jokes are quite good…and contestants are having great time with him! Poor guy actually tries to play with smarter contestants and humbly accepts that saying…”Yaar tumko itna sure hia to main kya mazak kar raha hu tum se…”. I’m sure the new show will appeal to younger audience and maintain popularity of show…Well done Shahrukh!
