I ordered a mobile phone from this site on 17th of June 2013 as my previous phone had gone lost.(order number - Kaun/135293) I had never heard of site before but as it showed up on Junglee.com which I thought does consist of genuine sellers, I thought of giving it a shot. The series of events that happened post that is as below -
- As there was no intimation from site on order status, I tried contacting customer care on 21st and 22nd of June on the number mentioned but no one replied. In the end when someone finally answered, the customer care executive told me that I ordered on 20th and my order would be delivered after 15 days(while I had a mail proof from Kaunsa on payment receipt and order processing on 17th of June to which the customer care executive also agreed to once I told him he is lying and shared the details with him. Also i am not sure which e-commerce site takes this long for delivery).
Hence, I lodged first online complaint on 6/22/2013 10:16:07 AM.
Received phone on 27th and it turned out to be defective. I had shown the same to service center and they told me Kaunsa.com will have to do the replacement. Logged 2nd complaint on site on 6/29/2013 4:26:08 PM after trying their phone but to no avail.
No response from Kaunsa.com hence a complaint again on 7/1/2013 11:33:36 PM. Finally was able to reach to someone on phone after trying on 1st and 2nd and they said that I have to mail at support@kaunsa.com the only place where they listen to queries. Wow how convenient. So following their "so called protocol" I mailed them there. I also raised it in complaint ticket on 7/3/2013 11:03:51 AM.
No response again. Hence when I was able to reach customer executive again, he said that my mail was not received, I kept the phone and mailed him again, he said he didnt get the attachment while it was there in my mail as shown in sent items. I asked him to give me an alternate id to mail on in case there is an issue with their id, but he didnt even try to help.
No reverts from Kaunsa, I lodged in more complaints on 7/9/2013 12:37:36 AM and 8:58:56 PM. I was not able to reach them on their phone from 4th to 9th and finally when on 9th I was able to, they asked me to courier it. Right I guess thats what they mean when they say they offer "Hassle free returns within 30 days". The executive told me that I lodged first complaint on 2nd and it was late as I had received delivery on 27th. I was like WTF and told him to check for complaint lodged on 29th which eventually he found. I am not sure why Kaunsa people like to lie about everything. I asked the executive to arrange for pickup.
Lodged another complaint on 7/14/2013 9:49:20 PM and yet no response on status of my request even after 17 days of wait.. Kaunsa.com sucks and provides the worst service. It is actually destroying whatever confidence we had built up on e-commerce space and I will never recommend it to anyone except my enemies.(i am not sure if I would do something so bad to them as well)
Hence no matter what, please never use Kaunsa.coms services. They are thieves and will make your life miserable. I had founds tons of complaints on net against them and even 1-2 friends of mine already have bad experience with them. I regret the day I made the order but taking time on putting this here to help prevent anyone else to fall into this trap.
