Another morning rolls up ...a chance holiday comes by in the middle of the week and what a chance to test one more Vice which I have been comfortably living without all through - Riding the Bajaj eliminator...vroom!vroom!
Standing there, glinting in the mellow orange light of the morning she tempts me by winking through her chrome lines. The Eliminator - She is her usual stretched-out feline self today morning, demanding attention, the touch of a loving chamois and a lazy throttle hand.
Eliminator benefits from its cruiser ambitions. She sports the longest wheelbase, has gumball rubber and in general seems like the most spacious set of wheels.
As you approach her , her slimness takes you by surprise. She fits almost too well in between your legs.
As I get on with the ride between Powai and Thane along the express highway she gives me an orgasmic experience with her powerful 173.9 CC engine putting out 15.15 bhp at 9000 rpm.
At Rs.95, 000 (+ the nick nacks) this girl is high priced for a one night stand. It almost brings me thoughts of a lifetime commitment to her...but hey not so fast...ok.The only thing that makes me do a doubletake is when I take a look at the fuel tank, and how this baby would cost me , if I have her wrapped around my legs everyday.
As I come to the peak of this ride , I have almost attained nirvana for my mind. The road stretches ahead to both directions. The flaming red eliminator contrasts with the black tarmac and with the wind sweeping across my ears , the sound of the eliminator , which is not something that I would write home about , gets muffled.
The ride is comfy , but overall , it makes me feel like I have sinned by riding her only for such a short while. This bike is to be ridden at a stretch for at least 100 Kms so that she will break out into a little bit of sweat
Whom would I recommend this bike to - men who ride this bike should have sinned at least a few times before the ride.
Caution notice : Wine , women , whisky and a Bajaj eliminator...are dangerous to the health of namby pamby geeks , so pls stay away.
