The silent beauty

Well guys tell you what at home I have a pulsar 180 and eliminator and uncle owns karizma !!!!(how lucky) so I started wondering which is the best as I m quite used to the bajaj products and getting used to karizma but lets talk about eliminator here the first cruiser to hit indian roads has been a mixed bag for me well go for the positive things about it first the styling which is unlike any other bike in india apart from newly launched aquila the bike boast of a 173 cc engine and have 15horses to do the duty which can reach upto speeds of 115 kmph which is quite good once you hit the highways and boast of a good pickup regardless of its weight the styling of the bike is great the chrome work on the handlebars on the tank the fat looking backrest and other parts is superb full marks for that the tank looks great and can be home to some 15litres of petrol the head light is great and has a 65 watt bulb on duty which can match upto cars so night riding is not that difficult the long handle bar and the seat are quite comfortable with your legs stretching out you feel as if you can ride whole day though I wish it should have chopper style handle bar just like thunderbird the suspension is excellent and does not hurt while you say hello to bumps and speed breakers better than pulsar and karizma I bet for this. The rear tyre is almost fat as maruti car have and that makes handling much more easier and you feel confident while approaching a quick turn the bike returns around 30-35 mileage. The self starter is just as excellent, as you will approach red lights and crowded markets it will definately makes heads turn with its unique styling and you feel all the more confident and like a king as there are only few eliminators around. The paint work, the finish, the chrome work and the instrument switches all are praiseworthy and the brakes are superb to say the least but it comes with some of its drawbacks also like no fuel meter and you are always wondering when you need to refill and there is no pass switch which is must on highways or take its height for instance which should have been a bit more and the single meter in front makes the bike looks little naked it should have been a twin pod which would have been great the other hassle is if you have a puncture on a highway and dosn’’t have extra tube with you than you feel like cursing bajaj guys as its tube is of different size and is not available at road side mechanics imagine dragging it with a flat and fat rear tyre. the tube is only available at select outlets the exhaust is quite silent and you go unnoticed while those girls were busy talking and you start screaming and sometimes you wonder when its in neutral that the engine is off or on..and if you being a tall guy than the riding posture looks all the more awkward...last but not the least the exorbitant price nearly 90k on road and you have your mom fighting for that neighbour’’s good old maruti car...anyways who are always waiting for that holiday break and look to hit the highway and know whats the diffrence between cruising and speeding than this is the bike for you spend a few more than karizma and have the ultimate LUXURY and dont mind sacrificing some top speed as its more comfortable than karizma on highways and looks great with those leather bags on side! so guys if you want to get noticed and doest mind being overtaked by a karizma occasionally or for that matter a pulsar 180 but the styling of those bikes will get dated after some time and eliminator still looks unique after 3 years in production!!!well its for people who hits the highways often...so guys take your pic and decide what fascinates you more till than bye bye
