I have caliber new model since last 6 months. Already clocked 8000 Kms. I bought this bike after 2 years of thinking. Well, I had lot of expectations. Not all were fulfilled.
The bike is great in riding comfort from seating angle. You can go for long drives without problem. But the gear shist is messy. It is not smooth. Tends to find a neutral between gears. Compared to other bikes like Crux, Pashion, Splendor the gear shift required is very high. city riding in traffic is not that fun as you have to do gear shifts very very often. Compared to other bikes, this has more engine sound, but I like the sound of Caliber. Breaking of this bike is very good.
Bajaj has given a tachometer, but has nowhere given it’s instructions and how to make use of it judiciously.
Do not expect too much from the bike. O.K. O.K. power, good mileage and the usual Bajaj advantages
