The lean and the mean

The Kawasaki Bajaj kb-100 is one of the few bikes which still looks good, even though it was launched 15 years ago, it has the lean and the mean looks, It has awesome power and great control too.

The bike originally belonged to my brother and I got it 6yrs ago, and since then I have had no problems with it, I service it regularly after 3 months, so that keeps it up in good shape, and it still gives me and average of around 40-45 which is really good for me, but frankly who cares when u have raw power in ur bike.

The firing of the bike was unique and great, and the pick up on all gears was astounding, it goes from 0-60 in around 6 seconds which is really great.

The spares are available cheaply, and the speedo panel has to be the best looking even today, The bike has great suspension and beats the sh out of any bike in corners, although at top speeds (90+) it can vibrate a lot, and the wind can shake the bike, I have riden the bike a lot and on day did 180kms on it at a constant speed of 70-80kmph and still had no problems, and when it comes to the bombay pune ghats, it just beats the sh out of any vehicle hands down, cause the way it turns on the hairpins with all that raw power is something else.

Although the followup kb-125 was a failure, as it had a worse pickup than the kb-100
