There is truth in the saying, old is gold. This is year 2004 and for the past 14 years my KB100 is going strong just like new. I bought this beauty second hand from my cousin in 1994 and till date just like a new bike no problems. The power and the speed is what I like most about it. My bike can coolly cruise at 80 kmph and can reach 105 kmph. And good acceleration and excellent braking with the old technology drum brakes. It always starts with a single or utmost 2 kick starts(old technology so what).
And while some of my friends new bikes are visitors to the workshop I take it to the workshop for adjustments of the brakes etc. during this entire period it once had a major repair only. And that too could have been avoided if I was careful.
Company paint is still on and it does not look like an old man. Of course the paint does not look shining new. It has a tachometer (remember it was made 14 years back). I recommend this bike to anyone who loves power and speed.
