KB100 - an overall good bike with some shortages

The bike is good, except for the fact that all thr parts gets worn out soon. My friend had a KB 86 model & sold it by 2000, it was an excellent piece & we had touched 110 while the bike wasn’t taken care much. It weighs 115 KG totally. The engine weighs more and the body wouldn’t with stand the vibration from the engine and that is how the parts gets worn out faster.

One reason why the bike had less popularity despite the pros was that it lacked quality and was not able to overcome the main competetior Rx100. Also the people in bajaj was keen in selling the products rather than maintaining it. I sometimes wonder if HH has tackeled this problem well by addressing customer needs.

One feature in KB was that the carburator is so delicate or may be the design is such a way that it is placed next to engine and requires extra effort in opening and tuning it.
