I had severe acne, got it treated from an experienced dermatologist, but the doctor had an assignment abroad due to which I could not take further treatment for scars from her....
A friend suggested to go for Kaya...Went there, consulted their dermatologist. I was specifically interested in the scars treatment since I didnt have acne any more....
The doctor said since you have reddening on the face we cant do a scars treatment straightaway, rather lets do salicylic peels(4 sessions). At the end of the 4th session, she asked me to sign up for a package of microdermabrasion+photofacial(5 sessions), but when I was supposed to have my first session for this package, they said you need 4 more sessions of salicylic peel....I had already signed up for a 15000 worth package and they were asking for an additional package..and I have tp pay for this one separately.....That means I pay them advance (15000+6000(for salicylic peels package))....This is when I realized its a parlour for minting money...Doctors here dont prescribe medicines, just suggest expensive packages....
Every time I had a session they would ask how I was feeling, Has your acne come down....I never had acne when I went there.... and my scars never improved. I was taking treatment with them for almost 6 months...with no effect and of course their products....I think the suncreens you get in market like Ranbaxy’s Suncros is much better than what they provide....and the cost, Suncros is 200, kaya’s is 700...
They are simply ridiculous.....I believe if something is expensive and worthy go for it, but Kaya is simply not worthy of its cost...
