I had bought a Package from Kaya, knowing that it was more expensive than other Players in the Market, but taking a holistic view since the future maintenance cost promised to me was reasonable. The decision was made keeping the total deal in mind. Today, when I called up to fix up a Maintenance session I was informed that I would have to pay an amount which was more than three times the amount advised to me whilst taking the package. The rates had apparently been revised effective from 1st April, 2012.
Despite taking up the issue with the clinic and customer service person, informing that I was an old customer who had bought the expensive Package basis the total commitment including future Maintenance Cost made to me, and the revision in Rate should not apply to me but to future customers who will buy the package post the revision date with full understanding of what they are paying, I was told that the old commitment did not hold and the policy and rate change applied to all.
I am extremely disappointed by this and shared the same including that I felt cheated, but I guess customer feeling cheated is of no relevance to Kaya. I would never have bought this expensive package had I been advised that the Company could change the Rate/ commitment made to me at any time.
As of now, I am left with a feeling of being cheated by an Organization and Brand I had trusted.
