And just when you think Kayamath might actually be different from all the "K" serials, it goes back to square one.Instead of a scheming bahu or saas, we have a half-sister who is out for revenge.Get over it, Ayesha, people are getting tired of your revenge programme.
The story isnt new, it is rather an old concept recycled(or rather Kaahin To Hoga recycled). The only thing new is the protogonist, Praachi, who thankfully isnt as annoying as other Ill-get-justice Tulsi, she is quiet and reserved. So apart from misty sets, and a very beautiful Panchi Bora as Praachi Shah, Kayamath has nothing new to offer.
The actors perform their parts well, specially Sanjeeda Sheikh as Ayesha, and Panchi Bora as Praachi. It is a pity that the storyline does not match the perfomances of the actors and it restricts their scope. As far as I am concerned, this story is heading nowhere. But all I give this serial a credit for is that it is not as run-of-the-mill as Kyunki. or Kahaani-and that, my friend, is quite an achievement!
