Hello my dear MSians, one day while sitting beside my stereo system , I thought that is there any way that I can download all the latest pictures, mp3, videos and much more in just one go?????Is there any such software available which would help s me stop buying those MP3 cd's..??Then while searching for the particular softy through google, altavista, download.com...finally got hold of 3 of them...Namely:

I then quickly downloaded and gave each one of them a trial for around 10 days..Out of the 3, Kazaa was found to be the best.Truly Amazing......Ares was too slow and sometimes troubled me while connecting...Amini ke bare mein puchoo hi maat ):...Basi Thakela....Ek Dum Bakwaas....

Kazaa is a peer to peer file sharing software which uses the FastTrack internet protocol. It is being commonly used for exchanging MP3's, Video etc between people and it's demand is rapidly increasing day by day. There are thousand’s of users from which you can download the desired files. INSTALLATION PROCEES AND INTERFACE :-

The installation process was neither slow nor fast. It just took 2 minutes to install & after installation it checked my internet speed, asked for the user id...For eg- mukul@kazaa.com.My first reaction after opening the application was that (oh..it's quite simple...not jazzy. hope it satisfies me.).Coming to the interface part, its very easy to use unlike Amini.There are different tabs included in the program which makes the navigation quite simple.

## I give IPI 6 out of 10 from my side. ##

The features there in kazaa make the software a true winner from all angles. I will try my level best to tell you about all of them. Let’s have a frowning look:

1. Search from 15 different modes :

Now expand your search with this utility resulting in more no. of results . For eg--> if you are looking for a song, and then select the option 'Audio' from the list and type the name of the artist or of the song. This helps the software find the result in that particular category quickly. Finally many files related to your search are shown and can be downloaded with just a double click.

All the files downloaded are stored in the chosen folder.!!!

1. Google Search:

Kazaa also helps you find information related to anything through Google. If the google radio type button is selected, all the searches will open with the normal google window and lists the results. No need to run your default internet browser.

1. Share Files:

Like others share their files, For eg-MP3's, Video's, Pictures and let you download them, the same way you can also share your files & then other users around the globe will be able to find and download them!. By just clicking on the 'My Kazaa Lite K++' tab , you are able to select the files you wanna share...and within a minute they are available for download. This is how kazaa community expands or you can say grows...:)

1. In Built Virus Protection:

The virus protection is offered by Bull Guard(Leader in Virus Protection for P2P Programs). Every file you download is first scanned for any suspicious threat or so.It also automatically quarantines and deletes those suspicious threats.

1. Theatre & Media Player:

There is a special theatre window in kazaa which helps you view all kinds of video files downloaded as well as the ones already in the hard disk , with better sound quality(I think so!!) and easier navigation. Coming to the media player, straightly play the downloaded MP3 from kazaa itself..But it has no visualizations, sound effects etc like in Windows Media Player. To say the least, it's absolutely plain..):

Other features include: Customizable Toolbars, User Guide, Skype, Promote your Blog, Customizable skins, Channels Selection & many more !!!

## I give the features 8.9 out of 10 from my side. ##

THE SPYWARE/MALWARE FACTOR/DISSADVANTAGES :

Sharman Network commits that there is no Spyware included wth Kazaa client..It also says that kazaa does not:

1. Delete files from your system automatically without your permission.

BUT..........I disagree with the facts listed above as I have full proof for what I am saying. Once it deleted all my software’s in the folder due to which I had to re-download them. They were around 97 software’s.....Kazaa also gathered my system info and sent it to it's users without my permission....Also I have received some spyware through it which was thank god detected and deleted by Bazooka in time.Also as time moves on, kazaa tends to slow down your computer a bit and affect it's overall performance..

For what kazaa offers me, I side look those facts and am still continuing with it..To sum it up, a great utility for a person who likes to often download files..like me..:)
