We recently bought vouchers on snapdeal for restaurant in Intercontinental Marine drive, and decided that we would go for a lavish Diwali lunch to Kebab Korner. We were offered the best table in the restaurant with best treatment only till the time they came to know that we had snapdeal vouchers, attitudes changed drastically.. Though the original buffet was for Rs.950 and we paid Rs.800, so the difference was not very vast.
All other tables were not given papads which we only realized when half of our meal was over. Then we realise that the meals are limited and was worried if we will be able to satisfy our appetite (and excitement). In the mist of all this, suddenly the waiter turns up and says that the starters & main course will all be served at once and not one after the other. We were quite shocked!! We had to literally raise our voices to first get the starters & than the main course. We had come to a 5-Star hotel to have various courses of meals.
We fail to understand that if they are not very happy with customers carrying vouchers or similar deals, why do they even put up such offers on online or on snapdeal? We wasted our precious time discussing about the step motherly treatment instead of a festive Diwali meal.
Hence please suggest why people of south Mumbai, like us, should visit or recommend this restaurant?
