From the USA…with love… Producers of KHDBB have done all it takes to say what their heats truly speak of. Hence, they’ve come up with something that has never been done in the past… They’ve rejected to compromise!
Resultantly, KHDBB is the first Hindi Film Ever, to be filmed entirely in the United States Of late, Kim Sharma and Jimmy Shergil have been more than serious in their acting. During their successful shooting abroad, both the Mohabbatein stars were more than enthusiastic with our foreign counterparts. The stars were very sincere in their work and also attended a number of Diwali and Navratri ceremonies that were popular amongst the Indo-American communities in New Jersey…where KHDBB was extensively shot. A pleasant change then…Kehtaa Hai Dil Baar Baar. The entire backbone of the film rests on the United States, and hence has a stronger overseas appeal. While several films have shot portions of their films in the United States, not one has had its entire landscape on American soil. From New York City to New Jersey, the entire film is all American. Even Jatin-Lalit’s music is very promising. As an added advantage, Director Rahul Dholakia is an American based director who has acquired his Masters degree from the New York Institute of Technology. It can be expected that the character sketches of the cast will have ingredients of an American style love story.
To add further comedy we have our favourite Paresh ‘Baburao’ Rawal and Jhonny Lever, both of who will keep the audience glued to their seats. Roger Patel (Paresh) is an Indo-American NRI whose family traits very much Indian. Sunder (Jimmy Shergill) is a happy-go-lucky personality with charisma, a good job and many aspirations in the Big Apple. Ritu (Kim) is a paediatrician who lives in New York, another nonchalant babe. Ritu and Sunder obviously encounter each other and fall in love. However, that is not the premise of this story. In fact, despite the fact that this Bollywood film is filmed in the United States, don’t expect it to be based solely on the ever so beaten up NRI theme. There is a reason that the producers decided to film the movie in the United States, much more story related as well as with character definitions etc.
