It took us about 3hrs to reach Kelwa beach Resort for Thane. The only thing we enjoyed was the drive in the midst of the Sahyadri Range. There were no proper direction leading to Resort.
The resort need an urgent maintenance. We hired the Log Hut, the rooms are too small, dark, no place for the sunlight to entire the room. Cleanliness has gone for a toss. You can expect caterpillars and spiders, falling and crawling the bed, linen, in the bathrooms at any given time. There is no facility for hot & cold water. No TV, telephone to get in touch with the reception for assistance.
The resort has a good connectivity to the beach. The beach was clean, but the water was, black and muddy water, where you would think twice to get into the sea.
Overall Kelwa Beach resort is a very wrong choice for value of money.
