I had purchased this about 3 years ago and the fridge has given me really very good service.
However, six months ago, m water suddenly started dripping from the fridge. This used to happen from a place just below the ice box and would happen when the fridge door was opened.
We registered a complaint with the company in August 2010 but till date, in spite of several reminders, no action has been taken by them to fix the problem. The companys call center says that the support is given by an agent and not directly by the company.
I wrote to the Managing Director of the company on 9th October 2010(letter sent by Speedpost) as below but here again there was absolutely no response. This is what I wrote:
We have had a very good experience with your Kenstar refrigerator. However, a few
months ago it started dripping water and we contacted your Bangalore service center
in August 2010 and registered a service request. The reference number is BAN
0408100294
In spite of two months having passed, no action has been taken by the Service center
(telephone number 39404040). When we call them, they state that they have passed
this on to an agent, who is not responding.
May we request your good offices in sorting out this matter
I am surprised that in these highly competitive times, the company has shown so much disinterest in servicing a genuine customer complaint and I suggest that no one buys a Kenstar Fridge because you may not get any service.
