An ideal solution to my guilt on having fried food. Totally convinced to buy one. The online recipe’s available are also very handy. I just like to freak out on the frozen stuff on a week end.
It’s nice and very useful. Does not require oil to fry and is very easy to use. It fries the food items in a good quantity in less than 15-20 mins. I never imagined a samosa without a drop of oil and that too with same taste. Not just samosas, but bread rolls and tikkis were mouth watering.
The product if adequately sized(3L) and can cater to the needs of a family of 4-6 easily(vis a vis other 2 - 2.2 L capacity ones).
Controls are user friendly and hardly take time getting used to.
Manual timer is good, but have to see how long it lasts.
Made french fries using brushed olive oil over the potatoes; came out excellent.
Fried Green chillies and eggplant for making salan; came out quite good
Made missi rotis; came out good, resembling those made in tandoor!
Fried Chips / Papad: came out a bit different from the fried ones, but still good and palatable. I feel the items that do not absorb oil would come out slightly different.
Cleaning the equipment is easy and the whole process is non-messy.
Overall, quite happy with the purchase and I highly recommend it as it is the most economical of the lot and has the largest capacity.
